Before you book.

How far is it from New York City?

About 2 h 45 by car from Manhattan or Brooklyn (≈150 miles, I-87 then NY-23). Amtrak to Hudson is about an hour’s drive away, Albany airport about 1 h 15.

Do I need a 4×4 in winter?

The county roads are ploughed and the driveway is cleared, but all-wheel drive or snow tyres make winter arrivals relaxed.

Is it good for kids?

Very — a tipi kids’ corner, toys and books for every age, a Stokke high chair, a pack ’n play and children’s cutlery. Just remember the hot tub has no lock.

Can I book dates that aren’t open yet?

The calendar opens about six months ahead. For later dates, send an inquiry and Nancy will hold them for you when she can.

What is the cancellation policy?

Free cancellation for 24 hours after booking, and a partial refund if you cancel at least 7 days before check-in.
